Women must be by far the most enjoyable topic for fantasy illustration…and monsters. So, women and monsters…hmm… and robots. Okay, you can see where this is going, but you can also see that women remain at the front of the list. The foremost exponents of human beauty, women seem to define style and presence. They never fail to inspire all manner of expression in any given artistic field. Little wonder then that in Hellenic mythology, the list of Muses grew from merely one to the nine with which we are most familiar.

Periodically, I’ll be adding to a growing catalogue of images of women who have in the past and in several cases, continue to inspire me. Many of these have paid me the rare honor of modelling for me. Others are the no less compelling figments of my imagination. Enjoy.
